Professional Audition Taping
What do I need to do to prepare for my audition taping session?
Before your session, make sure you’ve provided my partner and I with PDFs of all related sides, along with any relevant taping information and/or instructions from the casting director. We would prefer to receive these no later than 24 hours before the time of your session, but we understand that some deadlines don’t allow for that. We’re actors, too! Additionally, make sure to get plenty of rest and prepare an outfit that makes you feel comfortable, fabulous and ready to put your best face forward!
What should I bring with me to my audition taping session?
The most important thing you can bring with you—other than yourself!—is a great attitude. We want to help you shine! On a more practical note, please make sure to bring print-outs of your sides (although we will have some printed just in case you forget); appropriate clothing; bottled water (we all get thirsty sometimes); and a parent/guardian if you are under the age of 18.
How long will it take to receive my audition files after my session?
For standard deadlines, please give us a minimum of 24 hours to fully edit and process your audition tape. We understand that not all deadlines allow for that, so please let us know in advance if you need to have your audition tape submitted before that 24-hour window. We will send all edited files to you via WeTransfer as soon as they are ready, and we are more than happy to submit your video to your agent or a particular casting director if necessary.
How much does a standard audition taping session cost?
We are well aware that most actors live paycheck to paycheck like we do, so we kept that in mind when creating our pricing structure. Session pricing is based on the length of the audition, and ranges from $40 to $70. This price includes complimentary coaching, a private one-on-one taping session and full video editing services. If you are in need of financial assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask us about the possibility of receiving a reduced rate.
Commercial + Editorial Photography
Do you offer shoots
for model portfolio development?
Yes, of course! I love meeting with and working with models based in the Southeast. My service area currently includes Virginia and the Carolinas, but I’m more than willing to travel depending on the details of the project. I have worked with models on test shoots and editorial-style photo shoots for use in developing stellar commercial and high-fashion portfolios. Some of these shoots have ended up in publications like Humble Magazine and FAULT Magazine!
Do you offer styling services for fashion editorial shoots?
I don’t typically include styling in the price of my test or editorial-style shoot pricing, but I do know and collaborate with an amazing fashion stylist on an as-needed basis. If you require styling services, make sure to book your shoot at least one month in advance. The premium for styling services will be added to the cost of your shoot and will be determined by the stylist’s typical rates at the time of your booking.
Do you photograph weddings?
I haven’t yet taken the plunge into wedding photography, but I know a lot of wonderful women making their mark on the wedding photography industry that I would be more than happy to recommend. If you’re looking for bridal, engagement, boudoir, head shot or senior photography services, then you’ve come to the right place!
